About the Story
“Pact of Desire” is a new short film directed by Christopher Sammut and produced by the entire Sammut family. This is their second short film collaboration following the success of their first film, “First Light,” which received several awards and accolades in film festivals.
In “Pact of Desire,” a private investigator, Jack, played by Zachary Sammut, is drawn into a case involving a chalk outline of a body in his own living room, a sinister presence, and a devilish figure who seems to be manipulating events. As Jack delves deeper into the case, he finds himself increasingly isolated and haunted by his own past, ultimately leading to a confrontation with the devil himself, played by Christopher Sammut. The film also stars Emma Sammut as a mystical girl who holds the key to the mystery and Margot Sammut in a supporting role. Margot Sammut is also the producer and the art director of the film.
